Luggage Storage Terms & Conditions

1. Storage at Owner’s Risk

All items are stored at the sole risk of the owner. DROP Luggage Storage and Kinabalu Daya Hotel accept no
responsibility for loss, damage, or theft of any items stored. By depositing luggage, the owner acknowledges
and accepts full risk.

2. Liability Limitation

In the event of proven negligence by our staff, liability is strictly limited to a maximum of RM300 per bag.
This limitation applies regardless of the value of the contents stored. We strongly recommend that high-
value items are not stored in checked luggage.

3. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited from storage:

Cash & Currency

Expensive Electronics

Jewelry & Valuables

Dangerous/Flammable Goods

Perishables & Food

Live Animals

4. Claim Stub Requirement

A physical or digital claim stub is mandatory for the collection of items. Items will not be released without a
valid claim stub matching the deposited luggage tag. If a stub is lost, proof of ownership and identity must be
established to the satisfaction of the management before release.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is required upfront upon depositing items.

6. Unclaimed Items

Items left unclaimed for more than 3 days from the scheduled collection date will be considered abandoned.
DROP reserves the right to dispose of, donate, or sell such items to recover storage costs without further
notice or liability.

7. Right to Refuse & Acceptance

DROP Luggage Storage reserves the right to refuse storage of any item at its sole discretion if it deems the
item unsafe, illegal, or inappropriate for storage. By using our service, you agree to these terms and
conditions entirely.
